Hi, I’m Edie.
I’m a writer, children’s author, proofreader, lifelong detail-noticer, and Pacific Northwest transplant who has called Washington home since 2019.
I’ve always loved words — how the right ones can bring clarity, tell a story, teach something meaningful, make someone laugh, or point someone’s heart toward God.
By day, my professional work has taught me to research carefully, organize complicated information, notice inconsistencies, and communicate clearly. Outside of work, you’ll often find me writing, serving at church, crafting, exploring, or hanging out with friends.
Life With Edie began as a home for my writing and children’s book, Darius’ Christmas Journey. It’s now growing into something more: a place where I can use my love of language, creativity, faith, and attention to detail to serve others through writing and proofreading.
My faith in Jesus is at the heart of who I am and shapes the way I approach both people and work. Whatever I’m doing, my hope is to do it with excellence, integrity, and genuine care.
